The Valley Center Lacrosse Foundation was founded in November 2004 as a charitable organization aiming to bring lacrosse to Valley Center and its families.  The VCLF assists in developing, establishing and supporting youth lacrosse programs, teams and athletes in our community.

We established Valley Center’s first middle school level girls’ lacrosse team in Fall 2004 and have had six very successful and entertaining seasons.

In Spring 2006, the Foundation fully funded the inaugural Valley Center High School Girls’ Lacrosse Team and continues to be the sole funding source for our high school teams.  The VCHS program secured its first league championship in 2009. We have also sent two of our athletes on to NCAA lacrosse programs.  Several other of our graduates are looking forward to playing lacrosse for their colleges.

Our middle school level boys’ lacrosse team was established in Spring 2007.  The boys team has grown rapidly and we now have enough participation to field two teams and we look forward to continued success in upcoming seasons.

The specific objectives of the Foundation are to:

  • Assist in obtaining financial support for Valley Center youth lacrosse programs, organizations, teams, and athletic participants
  • Maintain open lines of communication amongst coaches, parents, youth athletic participants, the Valley Center Pauma Unified School District, the Valley Center Lacrosse Foundation, and other interested parties
  • Promote lacrosse awareness in the community
  • Assist in the development and establishment of new amateur youth lacrosse programs, organizations, and teams in Valley Center
The Valley Center Lacrosse Foundation operates solely on donations and fundraising events.  If you would like to support youth sports in Valley Center, please contact Foundation President, Morgan Rogers
