Valley Center High School Girls’ Junior Varsity Head Coach
Valley Center High School is accepting applications for the position of girls’ junior varsity lacrosse head coach for the upcoming 2010 season. This is a paid non-teaching position with the Valley Center Pauma Unified School District. The Jaguars junior varsity lacrosse team ended the 2009 season undefeated and prepared our athletes for the varsity level. The JV coach will enjoy the support of the Valley Center Lacrosse Foundation, allowing the coach to focus on coaching rather than fundraising and team administration, and also will appreciate the strong and successful girls’ middle school lacrosse feeder program that will ensure the continued competitiveness of the high school teams. Candidates should have prior coaching experience or have played at the college level, be a proponent of the Positive Coaching Alliance, and be a role model for our girls. Valley Center Junior Boys’ Assistant Coaches
The Valley Center Boys’ Junior Lacrosse Club is looking for assistant coaches for the upcoming 2010 season with potential for head coach responsibilities in the 2010 season. Entering their fourth season this coming Spring, the boys’ team would like to expand their current 6th through 8th graders’ team to two teams; one Division III team for 5th and 6th graders and one Division I team for 7th and 8th graders. The team will likely start play as a Junior Varsity team in its first season and graduate to the Varsity level of play after gaining a year or two of experience. We are hoping to have a boys’ team established in time to participate in the 2011 or 2012 seasons. This coaching position will be a paid non-teaching position with the Valley Center Pauma Unified School District.
